In Italy, when you mention a “BAR”, the first thing coming to the mind is coffee.

Needless to say, “coffee” in Italy is simply another word for “espresso“. 😉

Here at Schokolato we offer a truly excellent espresso, in all its variations (ristretto, corretto, macchiato, doppio, americano, …), and also the coffee “a-la-mode” (“cafè creme” / “cafè schwarz”), the white versions (cappuccino, caffellatte, latte macchiato), and the gluttonous ones (marocchino with Felchlin Maracaibo 65% chocolate).
Yes, also the cold version (caffè shakerato)!
Should you wish having a vanilla, cinnamon or caramel aroma, that is possible!

Our coffee is a blend made especially for Schokolato by a Roasting Boutique, operating since 3 generations.
It’s the balanced mix of three arabica varieties with one of the best “robusta” bean variety in the world, coming from Java, Indonesia. The roasting is exactly respecting our desired level, coming from selected fresh beans, and is roasted-to-order and delivered to us in just three days. Amazing, huh?!

To extract the Coffee, Schokolato uses one of the most prestigious coffee machines existing on the market.
It’s the DC PRO, produced by  Dalla Corte Milano.This model is normally used during the world “Barista Champion” title competitions. Our espresso machine comes with two on-demand grinders, which dialogue real-time with the machine to monitor the extraction time.

What is an excellent coffee?! It’s the one respecting the 25-9 rule!
25 milliliters of dark liquid, extracted in 25 seconds, at a pressure of 9 bars, and a temperature of 90°.
A meticolous maintenance ensures an excellent perfermance.

NOTE:
All our drinks are available also with lactose-free milk, or soya milk.
It’s also possible to use aroma such as cinnamon, caramel or vanilla.
